--------
KenYa KAWAGUCHI
is a shakuhachi musician. He has been living in New York City since 2006. He plays an un-lacquered, un-jointed, bamboo flute to help express his music directly and transcend any separation between performer and instrument in the tradition of Watazumido, and has been inspired by the playing by John Coltrane and Eric Dolphy. He has participated in the Triennial Art Festival in Niigata, and the Annual Opus Medium Recital at the Tokyo Opera City Hall, and currently performs both solo and with dancers. Kawaguchi is a member of Seiji Nagai Group.

Miyu Leilani
is a performer from Tokyo. She began acting in middle school and toured with a children’s theater mime troupe. In NY, she has studied Butoh at CAVVE and worked as a puppeteer and dancer mainly for Kate Brehm, Ximena Garnica, and herself. Recent credits include installation performance at Watermill Arts Center, Becoming in Bogota (Colombia), NYC, and Pittsburg, Fire Burning Rain Rock Opera at Highline Ballroom and others. She studies to get a BA at City College, is a member of LEIMAY and Amanojyaku, and a resident artist at CAVE. She recently started to work with Kenya Kawaguchi, a Japanese Shakuhachi player and for the winter, is planning a tour in various locations in Japan.
